CHANCES OF DESTINY -sn 2 episode 7

“It looks like this rain is not subsiding any time soon.” I said.

“I don’t want it to.” She replied smiling.

“Why not?” I asked.

“Because I don’t want you to go Felix, if you go I will be lonely.” She said.

I smiled and continued eating. I too didn’t want to leave, I loved her company. Even so, I did not want to overstay my welcome.

“I will need to freshen up, I feel sweaty.” I said.

“It’s okay; use my shower I wonโ€™t mind.” She said.

In my car I always carried two extra pairs of tuxedo, I went to the car and took a trouser and a shirt, I then went back to the house to have a shower. The shower was in Victoria’s room, it felt weird though I had to use it; I was really sweaty.

“Do you have an extra towel?” I asked.

Victoria gave me a white towel and showed me to the shower. I locked the shower room and started washing off the sweat.

Few minutes later, I was out of the shower. I was applying lotion on my skin when I heard the bedroom door open. I pretended not to have heard Victoria come in and went on applying the lotion.

She came behind me, took the lotion and started applying it on my back. I had not yet turned my head to look at her, all I could feel was her soft palms on my back. I slowly turned towards her and that was when I realized she had changed her dressing. She was wearing a bathing rob.

I was still having the towel wrapped across my waist. Victoria slowly moved her arms to my chest and she started rubbing them against my chest. She then started kissing my neck. I sat there on the bed like a statue waiting to see the madness of the city. Victoria had now shifted and was sitting on my laps, I closed my eyes. I could feel her approaching my lips; I dodged to avoid the kiss.

“What’s wrong Felix?” She asked.

“Nothing.” I said.

“In the dining room you kissed me back, now you are avoiding my kiss, did I wrong you?” She asked.

“No, just that I am not sure if I really want to do this.” I replied.

“But why?” She asked. She sounded curious.

“I barely know you dear, we just met. We will sleep together yes, then what?” I asked.

Victoria could now see the sense in my words, she slowly started retreating.

“Vickie, I don’t want to lose a sweet friend just because of a mistake we could have avoided. You are so beautiful, any man would want to have you in bed but I want more than that. You are the only lady who has managed to win my heart so fast, I don’t want to mess everything so soon.” I said.

“Felix, you are a rare man to find, thank you for not taking advantage of me.” She said.

I smiled, held her tight and kissed her forehead. She almost got me into temptation but thoughts of Betty and Zac at the hotel crossed my mind, I resisted the temptations. Victoria deserved more than just a onetime thing.
