“Christian, you are with me, the rest of you to distribute yourselves, one to stay with Victoria in the car and the other two to go get the cars in the parking garage, the code is my name. Once you input my name I will get a call from the garage and I will unlock the remaining bit.” I said.
All along Victoria was still in shock, she could not even talk. Christian accompanied me to my rooftop house while the other three did as requested. When we got to the fifth floor, my phone rang, it was from the garage. I unlocked the doors with my voice and we proceeded to the rooftop.
Christian was left at the door to ensure no one got in and I proceeded to the bedroom. I was shocked to find someone seated on my bed.
“Hello Felix, I am sure you don’t remember me. Have a seat, we need to have a chat.” He said, he was wearing a hood and sunglasses.
“Who are you?” I asked.
The guy then removed his hood and the sunglasses. I had a clear view of him.
“Marvin?! What the hell are you doing here mehn?” I asked perplexed.
“I am here for payback dude.” He said.
“What do you mean? Are you not the cop who helped me put Diana away and closed Max’s case?” I asked, getting more confused.
“Yes because she too was involved in my brother’s death. But she offered me a good deal and since we both had a common enemy, I helped her out of prison. In return she became my concubine and works for me now.” He said.
“I don’t understand what you are talking about mehn.” I said.
“You are really stupid. I played you and Ritah just to be sure who killed my brother so as to avenge him. You thought I was a cop? Oh! Come on, I am like my brother mehn, we live by the sword. After I kill you, I will help my concubine reclaim her property and then take it all.” He said, getting out a gun from his jacket.
His gun had a silencer; I had to make a move. The jackets Christian gave us had a hood to cover the head. I got off the bed and wore the hood then started running towards the door.
Marvin fired a shot and it hit the jacket’s hood. Due to the bullet’s force, I fell down. Marvin thought I was dead, he never could have expected that the jacket was a bulletproof.
I played dead and waited to see his next move. He then went to my closet and started throwing off my clothes off, he was looking for something. I slowly got my gun, got up quietly and corked it. After he heard the sound of the gun been corked, he turned.
